Power cut sees Argyll World Cup on the move

Power was cut to nearly 400 homes around Dalmally, Loch Awe and Taynuilt on Sunday, just after the start of the World Cup final, forcing many residents to drive into Oban to watch it.

The Oban Times understands frustrated football fans had to jump into their cars to finish watching the game in bars and houses nearby.
