OBAN lifeboat has been awarded a cash donation of £823.74 after a collection was made at the Royal Highland Yacht Club’s (RHYC) spring muster.
Held in Loch Spelve, Isle of Mull, and hosted by Douglas and Helen Wilson, who run Inverlussa Shellfish, the muster has a traditional mussel feast ashore at Inverlussa, all courtesy of the Wilsons.
RHYC supplies the wine, cream and onions to add to the Wilsons’ excellent fare and cook up a selection of different recipes. In return for the Wilsons’ generosity, the club holds a collection for its favourite charity, the RNLI.
