Oban Gaelic Choir will take its audience on a musical tour with songs composed over several centuries but with one thing in common, they all originate in Argyll.
Stòras has been several years in the preparation by conductor of 14 years, musician and composer Sileas Sinclair.
Reflecting on how the idea for the concert has developed, Sileas said: ‘Argyll has such a long and rich tradition of music and singing that it seemed like the perfect project for Oban Gaelic Choir to bring together a repertoire of these songs in a single performance, in order to celebrate our local Bàrdachd and hopefully bring it to a new audience.’
