A CHARITY collection bottle containing about £250 has been removed from the canteen of the Highland Council Roads Department. The theft took place on Monday September 12 at Carrs Corner in Fort William. Police say this ‘brazen theft’ has occurred during working hours in the busy canteen.
Between 7pm on September 10 and 6pm on September 12, a child’s specialised black Hard Rock mountain bike was stolen from Camanachd Crescent.
Between 4pm on Thursday September 15 and 11am on Friday September 16 a theft occurred from a shed at 38 Moray Place, Fort William. Nike Vapor golf clubs in a blue and yellow Wilson bag, a Cube push trolley and a bag of tools were stolen. The lock screws were removed by the culprit.
