A 67-YEAR-OLD Kilmore man found to be three times over the drink-driving limit has been fined and disqualified from the road.
Police approached Francis Flannigan, of Kilmore, driving a car at 1.25am on June 25 on an unclassified public road between the A816 and the Barn Bar, Ledaig.
Relaying the facts of the case, procurator fiscal Eoin McGinty told Oban Sheriff Court last Tuesday, August 16: ‘The accused said he was giving his friend a lift. Police smelled alcohol on his breath. He failed a breath test.’
