AN ORCHESTRA performed the world premiere of Oban Symphony last Tuesday in front of hundreds of people at the Corran Halls.
It took Norman a decade to write the piece and after the concert, he received a quaich from Argyll and Bute Council for his commitment to music in Oban.
Norman wrote the symphony for the Oban Bach Orchestra, who were accompanied on the night by Bass Tracks, the Dohnayi Trio and Oban Bach Choir.
