EXAM results across all secondary schools in Argyll and Bute have been released in a report due to be presented to the council’s Community Services Committee today (December 8).
The percentage of A-C grades achieved in Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) exams across all 10 high schools in 2015-16 sat above the national average at National 4 (96.17 per cent) and Higher (78.29 per cent) levels, but below it at National 5 (76.23 per cent) and Advanced Higher, which fell from 83.6 per cent in 2014/15 to 75.6 per cent this year – 6.1 per cent below the national average.
