THE Morar community has been celebrating the life of 19th-century dance master Ewan MacLachlan, who hailed from Morar and who went on to create the unique dances of the Hebrides.
With sponsorship from the Lottery Celebrate Fund, Morar Community Trust paid tribute to MacLachlan’s artistic contribution when he innovated the dances that are now deeply embedded in Hebridean tradition.
