We all love a massage, and many of us know the incredible therapeutic and healing benefits it brings. It can be a perfect addition to any yoga practice and a healthy lifestyle. And yet just 8% of the UK population has ever set foot in a spa, according to the UK Spa Association (spa-uk.org). Well, it wants you to be at your best even when you can’t make it to the spa or indulge in a blissful, expert massage. So, the association has kindly put together a list of tips for incorporating ‘spa’ into your day-to-day life. “The importance of taking ’me’ time out to relax and unwind are well known and we want more people to experience these benefits,” says Charlie Thompson, chair of the UK Spa Association.
