Organists' Review  |  December 2013
Often themes for issues are arrived at easily. However, this issue disproves the rule. Following on from September, we are publishing the concluding section of the article about Caleb Jarvis. I was surprised at the post bag we received on him: turn to page 89 for an example, there wasn't room for any more!
In June I took time to go up to Leeds to learn about the Cathedral's inspirational scheme to use an inner-city school as the seeding ground for a choir, to bring music to more children.
To continue our occasional coverage of digital organs, Kenneth Spencer has contributed an article on the "Hauptwerk" system – it explains everything you need to know about setting it up from scratch.
Finally, more traditionally, Tom Winpenny introduces the Union Chapel organ which features on our cover.
