Well, what a difference a couple of weeks makes! Amid jubilation from some swimmers as lockdown restrictions were eased in England, many voiced concerns about safety and inexperienced swimmers taking to the open water. Outdoor swimming venues have opened with social distancing measures, but many have been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people wanting to swim. So some of us are back in the water, albeit in a very different way from before.
