Parchment Craft  |  June 2010
Welcome to the June issue of Parchment Craft where this month regular contributor Alison Yeates demonstrates how you can add dimension to your card designs. She has created a 3D Fish Tank Shaker Card (P.6); the base layer featuring brightly coloured fish, then filled with a covering of confetti stars, before being enveloped by acetate and a detailed parchment border.
Linda Williams has also submitted a 3D piece, the subject being a Poppy
Handbag Card which includes a dainty gift tag that be customised to suit your recipient or occasion.
In addition to the above there are also early reminders for Father’s Day (June 21st) with cards designed by Judith Maslen (P.22) and Mary E Price (P.30). Judith’s depicts a vibrantly coloured deck chair whilst Mary provides two patterns for you to work from, one with a little girl, the other a little boy, both of whom are holding their Father’s hand.
