”I found videos of myself naked on his computer”

Our agony aunt, Mary Fenwick, o_ers a new perspective on whatever is troubling you
MARY FENWICK is a business coach, journalist, fundraiser, mother, divorcée and widow GOT A QUESTION FOR MARY? Email, with ‘MARY’ in the subject line FOLLOW MARY ON TWITTER @MJFenwick

Q I am 25 and I have been dating my 35-year-old boyfriend for six months. I recently discovered six videos of me naked, made without my consent, on his computer: one of me getting changed in the morning; me in the shower and others of me lying in bed asleep. This discovery left me shocked, since he is so kind, respectful and seemingly normal. There have been no red flags or strange behaviour; in fact it is the best relationship I have ever been in. I don’t believe he intends to share these videos, but I find it very confusing and worrying that he did not ask me, and clearly indulges in voyeuristic behaviour. I am unsure how to confront him. About Psychologies

It’s all about love this month. In our 18-page Dossier we look at the reality of making your relationships work once the rush of lust wears off. We encourage you to choose to love each other, imperfections and all. For those who are struggling, we’re giving away our 30-day ‘How to save your relationship’ online course with relationship expert Sarah Abell– worth £47. We are also looking at how to navigate bringing up teenage children with our coaching columnist Kim Morgan, plus discover a new way to deal with grief - over dinner! Gratitude is the theme of our special gift guide for Christmas and beyond. We’ve partnered with Etsy, our favourite online portal for unique gifts made with love. Who and what are you grateful for this month?
