CREATING ME TIME
‘Alone at last’ (October) was a beautifully written feature by Vee Sey. I was moved to tears as I read the words, ‘I feel abandoned. Everyone I love is gone and I’m here all alone.’ I feel the same. Both my ‘babies’ have flown the nest and, although I’ve been on my own for a few years, I still feel like a failure and lonely at times. I have a love for all things crafting and used to have my own craft space with my beloved sewing machine. You’ve inspired me – it is coming out!
