Alexander Huls is a Toronto-based journalist. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Pacific Standard, Toronto Life, the National Post, and other publications. In this issue, he reports on how Richard Wagamese’s Indian Horse was adapted for the big screen (p. 14).
Arden Wray is a Toronto-based photographer with a BFA in photography from Concordia University. Her work has appeared in titles including The New York Times and British Vogue. In 2016, she was a winner of the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward competition. She shot the cover and poetry feature, “The poets of spring” (p. 16).
Canisia Lubrin is a writer, critic, teacher, editor, and the author of Voodoo Hypothesis (Wolsak & Wynn). Her writing has been published in literary journals including Room, The Puritan, This Magazine, Arc, CV2, and The City Series #3: Toronto Anthology. She spoke to Emma Healey for this issue’s poetry feature (p. 17).
