BACK TO THE GRIND
It’s now deep into the new year, and the grind
has began once again. Christmas is now a distant
memory, and the lay ins and chocolate are no
longer with us. Instead the early mornings begin
again, and deadlines are thick and fast.
However, thankfully for us, the new year
also means a whole heap of new tactical gear…
All of which is usually on display at the world
renowned SHOT Show. For once, our deadlines
fell slap bang in the middle of SHOT, and with
that in mind we thought it right to bring you a
feature on SHOT Show, bringing you all the gear
that caught our eye via all of the various social
networks. Our American contributor Trampas
was also on deck, and will no doubt be bringing
us a full feature next month.
Something else that this year brings is
something close to the bosses’ heart. Action Man
sees it’s 50th Anniversary this year, and the boss
wanted to dust off his PC and get to writing once
more, and we simply had to oblige (not because
we were amazed that he wanted to, more we HAD
to… It’s his magazine after all).
We were also contacted by the MOD Press Team
with some brilliant pictures regarding the much
covered Armed Forces Boxing Teams. Boxing
legend and ex Fusilier Nigel Benn paid the 1st
Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers a visit,
and the imagery was just brilliant, so much so
that you’ll find a gallery of said imagery in this
months issue.
On top of that, we’ve got a whole heap of gear
from a range of different companies such as
Helikon-Tex, Viper Tactical, Vertx and more.
So grab a drink, put your feet up and get
comfortable as you flick through the pages of
this months issue of Raider!

Raider

very good Reviewed 11 June 2020

Great Military Magazine

This is a great military mag, my only complaint is the amount of gear reviews, but for coverage of British and Western military, predominately European Army's this mag is the best there is. Reviewed 01 October 2018
