You might think that Micro Machines would be the obvious choice here, as an established multiplayer classic that supports the Four Player Adapter, but we believe that Nintendo’s Jet-Ski racer is actually the better choice for Game Boy players. It adopts a similar top-down perspective, but its slower pace and slicker handling simply work better on the small screen. Wave Race often gets overlooked compared to its impressive Nintendo 64 successor, but when it comes to four-player games on the Game Boy, this is the best of a limited bunch.
