This month's edition features specials about:

- Alliance Air Show 2012
The Alliance Air Show 2012 was held this year at 6 and 7 October at the Alliance Airport north of Fort Worth, TX. This year the show hosted two military demonstration teams, the Canadian Snowbirds and the USAF Thunderbirds, which is quite rare in this part of the world where there are only three teams around.

- Bye Bye Speedy Racer
On 11 September 2012 the Westland SH-14D Lynx made its final flight from MVK De Kooy, marking the end to the Lynx era. The Lynx has been in service with the Netherlands armed forces since 1976 and has performed its tasks with excellence. Ron Frijlink reports about the last helicopter to fly with Royal Netherlands Navy titles.

- ‘Kicking Ass’ Recce Style
The 95th RS conducts RC-135 reconnaissance missions in European and Mediterranean regions. They are vital assets to the USAF with gathering intelligence information and they monitoring radar signals. Ryan Dorling reports on the various white topped C-135s which are used by the unit.
