Pauline Morgan
“For this project, I was asked to make a belt using just one neutral colour, which is a very di erent kind of project for me! But that made this challenge all the more exciting. I adore vintage-style patterns and textures, and wanted to evoke the look of a vintage basket of owers. I knew the beautiful textured basketweave stitch would be perfect along with a ower-esque buckle. Draped around a pretty dress, it’ll look fantastic in summer.” Find Pauline on instagram at @makingpolly

“I’ve really enjoyed being part of Hook to Hook. I design clothing, so working to a brief to design an accessory was a fun challenge. I love using cotton for my makes and was delighted when my Rowan yarn arrived. It’s so beautifully soft! I wanted my belt design to be fun, full of di erent textures and versatile, too. I love that it can be worn tted or loose and with the tassels to the front, back or side for a variety of looks.” Check out Lorraine’s work on Instagram at @lilliaserendesigns
Pauline was inspired by vintage patterns and incorporated a textured basketweave stitch pattern into her belt design, which also features a tapered end
surrounding the buckle with flower petal-style stitchwork makes Pauline’s belt a perfect summer wardrobe accessory
