Flower power
Lucy Tomlinson, aka @lucytcrochet, made her very own “African flower squirrel army” to give to teachers as a present. Using all different colours but the same pattern from issue 124’s African flower supplement, these fantastic makes are sure to be much appreciated by the teachers.
GROW GIRL
If you’re looking for a gift for a greenfingered friend, look no further! This project from issue 125 is dedicated to all those who enjoy pottering around the garden. Clare Stone hooked hers up to decorate her own home. Perhaps she’ll make a few of the plants, also from issue 125, to create a little garden, too!
ONCE IN A TILE
Our Talavera crochet-along seems to have inspired a craze of tile-like projects among you hooksters. Alison Mutch has adapted the blanket pattern into two cushions for her living room to create a colourful Iberian-style set. After seeing this, we’re seriously considering giving our entire office a talavera-themed makeover!
