Inside, you’ll find six Christmas toys by Zoë Halstead, plus a bobbly stocking to hold them all. WITH PRIDE
Pride doesn’t stop after June – express yourself all year round with these fabulous earrings by Divine Debris! You can get the pattern for free on www.divinedebris. com, or about £3.10 on Ravelry. Why buy? The proceeds from designer Amber’s rainbow patterns – released every June – go to Trans LifeLine and The Trevor Project in the US, two charities that help struggling members of the LGBTQ community. These earrings are fun to make, cute and for a good cause – you can be proud of that!
SUPER YARN SHOP SOIRÉE
Yarnstravaganza is back! The nationwide celebration of independent yarn shops returns for its second year, and organisers promise that the event will be even bigger and better than before. Hundreds of yarn shops across the UK will put on special events, host giveaways and hand out various crafty goodies and limited-edition commemorative tote bags to visitors, all to encourage people to visit local craft shops and join in the fun. Grab a special map from the UK Hand Knitting website to find out which participating yarn shops are close to you – you could even organise a crafty road trip to visit as many stores as possible! The event runs from 30 September to 7 October, so start planning. It’s going to be lots of fun!
