A HANDS-ON MUM
My mum (Rosemary Chiam) and I have always been close. She was the ballet mum who sat outside class darning my pointe shoes. She was the bail-me-out mum who finished my home economics sewing project because I was too impatient to finish the raw edges.She was also the craft mum who signed me and my sister up, with her, for clay modelling, paper tole classes... the list goes on. These craft classes with my mum and sister are some of the fondest memories of my childhood.
