A new year is upon us and with that comes a renewed enthusiasm for self-improvement, involving a revived fitness regime, weight-loss goals, sensible bedtimes and a lot less alcohol. Once the last mince pie has been consumed and the decorations have been shoved back in the loft (next to the forgotten rowing machine from 2017) then it’s time to make our declaration to the world — our fail-safe new year’s resolutions.
