Scraping off the inconvenience, stress or bad smells that might have been present in reality to create a finely crafted memory postcard. It’s amazing how many postcards like this we’ve all got stored up there in our memory cabinet. To help on rainy days. When struggling to get to sleep. Or when bragging at the pub.
