Snowbirds & RV Travelers  |  November 2018
Fall into Winter
Many find summer too hot (not me) and winter too cold (definitely me), but fall weather is perfect for exploring, snuggling under the covers, or bringing out the fall scented candles. November feels like a transition month - winter hasn’t quite hit us but summer is a distant memory. Don’t just make it through a transition – make the transition matter.
Read about Elizabeth Hensley and her husband who are making their own transformation as they get rid of all their belongings and hit the road in their converted bus. Have you ever thought of leaving it all behind and breaking into full-time RVing?
Don’t have an RV of your own? Read our tips on renting an RV. There is also a story with great tips on making sure your travel insurance claims are accepted. If you are done with travelling for a bit, read our prep list on getting your RV ready for storage.
We also bring you some great destinations if you are staying on the road - visit the Town Time Forgot in California, travel the Canyons and Monuments in Arizona, or find some aliens in Nevada by reading Searching for Area 51.
There is also a great gift guide to get you started on your gift buying and ready for the holidays. Remember that a subscription to our magazine would always please your favourite RVer.
Wherever you go and whatever you do, we hope you’ll share - tell us more about you by sending us a photo, writing an email or visiting us online. See page 62 for more information.
