Transport News  |  July 2014
Big news this month centres on show reports, three in all: Firstly the big one; the CV Show held at the NEC, Birmingham as a full house of exhibitors enjoyed a huge visitor attendance. Then we have pictorial reports on ScotPlant at Ingliston and APSE at Aviemore.
In addition, TN takes its annual look at the used truck market. A new tranche of Freight Facilities Grants is now available in Scotland (application details) and this month’s birthday boys are the Baillieston, Glasgow based Beal Group celebrating 35 years in the trailer curtains business.
Nominations are now open for all 16 categories in the 2015 Transport News Scottish Rewards (Breakfast held on 7th November in Glasgow): And on test this month is a 7.5 tonne Iveco Eurocargo with a Euro 6 engine; a TN scoop! What’s new?
We have an in depth look at the Malcolm Group’s novel 50ft container launched at Multimodal last month by HRH The Princess Royal, plus all the road haulage news from Scotland and the north of England.
