TOM MORELLO: I came to Bruce Springsteen late in the game. I was deeply immersed in metal, punk and emerging hip-hop, so when Bruce came on my radar for the first time it was the “Dancing In The Dark” video, which I didn’t understand at all. It all came into focus when I saw a broadcast of the Amnesty International tour in 1988. Bruce played “Born In The USA” and then I really understood what the song was about. I saw the breadth and depth.
