My own personal journey to veganism began in 2012, and it was perhaps a slightly unusual one. Rather than dipping a toe in the water and easing myself in gently, I went from being an ardent meat eater to following a raw vegan lifestyle overnight.

While I now find a more traditional vegan diet better suited to my lifestyle, raw food still holds a very special place in my heart, so I’m excited to be able to celebrate vibrant, colourful and fresh raw food with you in this issue. From cheese and cheesecakes to rainbow-coloured salads and rolls (from p12), these wholesome recipes will have you glowing from the inside out.
