1. EXERCISE SMARTER, NOT LONGER

“January sees most people regretting going back for their third helping of Christmas dinner and vowing to hit the gym hard. However, with almost a fifth of us quoting lack of time for not exercising, 2019 is the time to be smarter and more efficient with your workouts so you see maximum results in minimum time. HIIT has long been hailed as one of the best workouts to incorporate into your routine for torching fat fast. New scientifically-backed research by Les Mills, has shown that you only need 30-40 minutes of HIIT per week in a maximum training zone (which is 90 per cent of your maximum heart rate) to provide the best results. By pushing the body into its maximum training zone for short periods, a positive stress response is triggered that creates bio-chemical changes in the body, which help build new muscle and improve fitness. Now, that’s what we call efficient.”

Whilst these horrific trades still exist we must continue to spread the vegan message and give a voice to the voiceless.
