Something I’ve noticed since going vegan — my skin has got terribly blotchy. I’ve also found that I feel a little weaker, which could be anaemia? Also, my teeth have begun to crumble, as if they were made of balsa wood, and last Thursday, I ate some tofu, and my legs exploded. I spent the whole evening wiping them down of the walls. Just like that. Exploded. Unbelievable.
Unbelievable, because of course, they didn’t. And my teeth are as fine as you could reasonably expect for a 45-year-old. And of course I feel weak, I have a 5-year-old. And my skin is alright. The fear keeps me looking young.
But some of these symptoms (and I sincerely hope only some) may sound familiar. You might have been someone who did experience physical change when you turned vegan. Or maybe you read someone’s post on social media about their new mystery ailments.
