Issue #60 of Vintage Trucks & Commercials Magazine brings in Winter with an extensive range of content on trucking in Australia to keep you entertained by the fire. In this issue Tony Petch brings us the first part of a new story called David John 'Leyland' Williams, a young man who became a truck mechanic, salesman and motel operator.

We have second instalment of 'Across the Pacific', where Darren Hingston looks further into Pacific Trucks and their involvement in the logging and paper production in Tasmania. This issue we feature restoration articles on the 1927 Chevrolet Ute (did Chevrolet make a 1927 Ute?) which has been put back into service at the Victoria Hotel in Hinton, after being found in a barn; as well as the B61 Mack of Cleary Brothers with Jim Gibson's story 'Bulldogs Cats & Cleary Bros.'

We look at the history of the Toomuc Valley Bedford which featured on the back cover of issue 58, and the story of Newmans - Mackville and how they rose to be a prominent bus operator and truck collector (their Army Mack features on the front cover). On the 70th anniversary of the Snowy Scheme, we take a look back at the historic equipment that made large infrastructure project a possibility.

There is a pages of news and letters from our readers, Truck Art, Forgotten Names in Transport and the expanded classifieds section where a host of trucks and others items are up for sale or are wanted.
