Just off the shores of Lake Garda, the European KZ and KZ2 Championship titles were awarded to Jorrit Pex and Adrien Renaudin in that order. A championship that ended with a bitter aftertaste for both those who won without a clear show of outstanding supremacy, and for those who did not manage to counter results achieved at Salbris on the first race that was so decisive to assigning the title.

We open our report of the final round of the European Championship on the close match between the Dutchman Jorrit Pex, winner of the title thanks to the questionable penalty assigned De Conto, the de facto winner of the final race and, hence, deserving of the continental title, and the French Jeremy Iglesias, winner of the first race in Salbris, who this occasion failed to take advantage of his favorable position in the standings by finishing only 14th.
