It made quite a buzz - and some damage in the race - the regulatory novelty of forbidding the possibility of starting the engines in the paddock during international competitions. We have commented extensively on the matter, highlighting how the problems encountered by the motorists are related to their need to check carburetion and, especially in these first races with low ambient temperatures, to warm up the engines a little before the race. To solve the latter problem, New Line presented at the last Offenbach fair a heater model that has been a resounding success among customers.
