Some motorists skimp on car maintenance to cut costs
MORE THAN A quarter of drivers aged 24 and under say they have put off making necessary repairs to their cars in order to save money.
That’s according to research by breakdown service provider RAC. It revealed that 28% of young drivers have avoided servicing their cars as often as they should, with 9% saying that they’ve stopped servicing their vehicles altogether. A further 17% admit to not replacing worn tyres.
