Why did you become a yoga instructor?

Before I became a yoga instructor, I had issues with my legs where my bones were growing thorny protrusions which made walking challenging so I had surgical intervention on both my legs. There was quite a bit of nerve damage and I spent some time in a wheelchair and using mobility aids. I got into yoga after my surgery to rehabilitate myself. It was about two years before I could really trust my legs again and just over three years until I became a yoga instructor. I have now been a yoga instructor for seven years.
