CABA, the charity that supports the wellbeing of chartered accountants, has revealed that Brits miss around 26 family occasions or social events – weddings, birthdays, date nights, ect – every year, due to work pressures. The data highlights a growing concern that a healthy work-life balance is near impossible for most of us due to employer expectations.
The research also flagged that stress in the workplace was a concern for employees, with 20% taking time of because they felt too pressured. Over one third (35%) of employees also admitted they regularly consider handing in their notice.
