Mayonnaise for mustard
It might be tasty, but mayonnaise doesn’t have a lot going for it, nutritionally speaking. It’s easy to overdose on this thick, creamy dressing. Indeed, a tablespoon will add around 100 calories- but you’ll likely be eating quite a lot more than this in your average sandwich. Eat sparingly and instead add a dash of spicy English, grainy or Dijon mustard. This will cut the saturated fat but still add a dash of flavour.
