The English Garden is a glossy, inspirational magazine for everyone who loves beautiful gardens. It publishes thirteen issues a year.
‘Our readers understand that gardening is a yearround pursuit that requires time and patience,’ said editor Clare Foggett. ‘They also share a common goal – an impressive garden with elegance and style.’ An American edition is also published six times a year. ‘Our transatlantic readers are Anglophiles keen to transfer the English style of gardening to their own gardens, and are predominantly based on the east coast of the USA and Canada, and the Pacific northwest.’
At the core of The English Garden is high-quality coverage and exclusive photography of exceptional gardens. ‘These may be classic or contemporary but always with an emphasis on the “English” style of gardening,’ said Clare. Each issue also contains informative plant features, practical advice and interviews with designers and gardeners. ‘We also occasionally include features on gardening-related topics such as a craftsman who makes trugs, someone who makes natural plant dyes, how to press flowers etc.’
