Memories are like hidden snapshots in our minds. Perhaps some are blurred while others are very clear. They can tell a story and are possibly very emotive.

We can structure the emotion by using a defined rhyme scheme, a set metre or a regular stanza pattern. In Fern Hill, Dylan Thomas starts the poem by remembering when he was a child: Now as I was young and easy under the apple boughs.
