Founded in 1972 and published by Boston University, AGNI magazine has featured work by six writers who went on to become Nobel Prize in Literature winners, including Seamus Heaney and Derek Walcott. Each print issue includes at least forty writers and artists from around the world, and the title has a reputation for publishing major writers earlier in their careers.
The magazine accepts short fiction, essays and poetry for both the original print magazine (published twice a year) and for the accompanying website, which is updated fortnightly.
