Hold out hope for funny writing

COMPETITION

The Liverpool Hope Playwriting Prize has returned for 2016, offering a £10,000 prize for the best new comedy theatre play. There may also be two further prizes of £1,500 for highly commended entries.

The prize is open to all playwrights, whether new or established, and is for an original theatre script which has comedy at its heart and has not previously been professionally performed. Scripts should be for fulllength plays of at least eighty minutes.
