Ruminate is a nonprofit US Christian quarterly where readers and writers have chance to ‘chew the cud; to muse; to meditate; to think again; to ponder’. It publishes poetry, short stories, photography, visual art reproductions, short fiction, memoir, creative nonfiction, essays, reviews, and interviews. Although Judeo Christianbased, Ruminate welcomes submissions which ‘both subtly and overtly engage faith from all the world religions’, and writing does not have to be explicitly religious: ‘The good work, itself, is spiritual, without any mention of God in the actual content.’
Submit up to five poems, max sixty lines each, in a single document, fiction and nonfiction, max 5,500 words and ‘flash nonfiction’, up to 300 words.
