Vilfredo Pareto was an Italian economist. Pareto’s Law, otherwise known as the 80/20 rule and much beloved by management gurus, is not strictly a law, of course, but it has a lesson for writers. One of its applications is in marketing, so let’s consider this in terms of the writer’s task of finding commissions.
