DAZZLE IN DRESSAGE
You might consider a consistent contact to be elusive. A soft, elastic contact looks easy to achieve, but when you climb on board, reality hits. Too many riders become overly reliant on their reins as the main aid, resulting in a stiff and resistant horse. The key to success is to focus your attention on achieving a good rhythm and developing your horse’s understanding of bend and flexion. Once these are in place, you’ll soon find the contact and your horse’s way of going improves. Rhythm and suppleness are vital for improving your horse’s way of going.
