- EAATTC 2015
The second European Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Course (EAATTC) was held at Orléans air base from 18 to 29 May 2015. The EAATTC initiative is part of a wider training structure, which is the result of the cooperation in the European Air Transport Fleet (EATF) partnership. This organization was created by the European Defence Agency in order to optimize cooperation and coordination and to enhance airlift capac- ity among the twenty core member states.

- 14 Juillet
Every year on 14 July, France celebrates the storming of the Bastille prison during the French Revolution in 1789 with a military parade over the Champs Élysées in Paris. A flypast of airborne assets of the armed forces is always part of the programme.

- 159th EFS deployment to Europe
Leeuwarden Air Base saw the arrival of twelve F-15s from the 159th Expeditionary Fighter Squadronl as start of USAF latest Theater Security Package (TSP). With this recent deployment under responsi- bility of the 159th FS, a unit from the 125th Fighter Wing of the Florida ANG based at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base we thought it was time to have a closer look at this unit, its mission, its history and of course their deployment to Europe in 2015.

- European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition 2015
The annual EBACE at Geneva was held this year from 19 until 21 May and celebrated the event’s 15-year anniversary. The conven-tion once again underscored the show’s value and continuing importance to the aircraft industry’s advancement in Europe and beyond.
