Welcome to our fabulous summer issue! A big part of my working day is spent looking at the latest floral trends, the hottest florists and, of course, real life weddings (it’s a hard job, but someone has to do it). One thing I have picked up on is the breathtaking home-grown talent here in the UK – and the fantastic creativity and originality of our brides; I am genuinely so excited to share four absolutely beautiful weddings with you, starting on page 33. This issue we’ve also whittled down some of our favourite floral-inspired venues in the UK (page 24), and have had a blast putting together our feature on alternative bouquets – the flower girl fairy wings on page 28 are just spectacular! And if you’re trying to work out how you can have your dream day without taking out a second mortgage, head to page 26 for our savvy spending tips and expert advice. Looking for big day inspiration? Then you’ll want to turn to page 12 straightaway, where our handpicked moodboards range from a romantic beach elopement to a dramatic and botanical theme – I think they might just be our best ones yet. As always, we have a gorgeous fashion shoot from page 51 and our Runway to Reception spread on page 58 is bursting with vibrant and tropical ideas, ready for the summer... Let’s just hope the sun shines! Plus, turn to page 50 for your chance to win a delicious and show-stopping wedding cake by the über-talented Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, worth an amazing £1,000! It wouldn’t be the same without our glorious Flower Lookbook section, starting on page 71, and this issue it’s filled with more fun, innovative and original designs than I have ever seen before! I really hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I have. Enjoy the issue.
