CLOSE UP ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE EURO TROPHY
The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy 2018 works just fine, this is quite clear to everyone. As confirmed by Vice President Peter Oelsinger, the numbers are noteworthy and give proof of the great work done by the organization over the years. But the numbers are not the only index that allow one to assess the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy. So, what is behind the series’ success? First of all, cost reduction, thanks to new format of the events, which take place over 3 days, and the reduction of tire sets made available. From the technical point of view, even the new MOJO D5 for the DD2 and DD2 Masters classes have “passed the test”, collecting positive comments from the drivers since their debut in the Belgian national Rotax championship. Then there’s the most awaited event of the Rotax 2018, namely the Grand Finals of Paraíba in Brazil. Drivers competing in the Euro Trophy, and other national Rotax series, aim to secure the big ticket that allows winners to take part in the Grand Finals with considerable discounts. Nine tickets are made available by the organizer: to Junior and Senior podium winners, to the first two in DD2, and to the winner of the DD2 Masters.
