Since the Covid-19 pandemic and the necessary safety restrictions, the Rotax Global App is offering virtual briefings for the registered drivers to avoid any group gatherings throughout the race event. The virtual briefing replaces the usual meeting held by the race director at events with all necessary information for every class and is mandatory for each registered driver.
By using this function, the user receives a list of sessions (documents and videos) which must be read or watched before racing. The virtual briefings can be viewed by anyone using the App, but there’s a special feature for registered drivers (who have logged in with their personal Edit Code) so the organizer can confirm they have attended the briefing. As a driver, it is necessary to watch all sessions in the given sequence. The system will record all views and convey the results directly to the stewards’ board.
