You kindly published my letter about running buddies getting you through, getting you out there and motivated, in March.Well, I ran the Great Manchester Half in May. The heat was stifling and it was the worst race I’ve ever ran. I got round, but felt wrecked, emotional, exhausted and broken. I had a total crisis of confidence and kept telling myself I must be ill. I was despondent, beaten and low.
