2015 bookshelf busters

The Bookseller reports that, with sales of £14 million in 2015, Julia Donaldson was UK’s bestselling print author for the sixth year running. Second was David Walliams (£11 million), with JK Rowling third (£8 million) and Joel Morris and Jason Hazeley (£7.4 million) fourth. Morris and Hazeley are the authors of the hugely successful tongue-in-cheek relaunch of Penguin’s Ladybird Books for the middle-aged. Jamie Oliver was fifth with £7.3 million, mostly from his latest book, Everyday Super Food.
